The Butterflies (and snail) at Changi Airport in Singapore

Waiting in an airport for your next flight can be a dull and tiring experience. But if you’re at Changi Airport, you can make time pass a little quicker by visiting the butterfly garden. As you might expect the place is hot and humid, but it’s well worth the heat for the sight of all those colourful butterflies flitting about. Though technically, when we visited, they were all sleeping (we visited in the evening) so I can’t actually guarantee that butterflies ‘flit’ a lot during the day. But based on my documentary watching experiences, they tend to flit a lot so my statement is not defunct.

In any case, if you’re tired of duty free shopping, the butterfly garden in Terminal 2 is the place to go at Changi Airport!
